After a few weeks of being unwell and 3 visits to the GP, we were sent to UHW children's hospital assessment unit where James was quickly diagnosed with Leukaemia on 02/01/2015. We were quickly transferred to Sky Ward and a treatment plan was quickly put into place. Currently James is doing really well on treatment but we know that there are ups and downs ahead and so far LATCH have supported us greatly and we want to be able to say 'thank you' and also help to ensure this support is there for other families in similar circumstances. This run is also special as I have my own ailments which makes rubbings extremely painful, but anyone who knows me, knows I am determined!!
