Story
Hey,
I’m Millie’s mummy and 7 years ago in October 2012, we lost our precious daughter Millie at just 9 months old when she passed away after choking at nursery.
So for her anniversary this year, I thought I would run a half marathon in Manchester. I signed up and so did an amazing 40 plus other people, so I have no excuses to drop out! Haha.
Sunday 13th October 2019 - that’s the date!
Seriously though, doing things like this in Millie’s memory keeps us going, knowing that we can give people life saving knowledge in her memory, we already know that our work has helped people and we want to keep that going.
I’ve never run a half marathon before and I know that it’s going to be tough ... but I’m determined (even with a dodgy knee) .... so that’s one reason why I have set my target!
