As brave as a lioness

After a four year battle with cancer our brave lioness Joanne died with her husband Luke and mother Wendy at her side on Thursday 27th June. 

Joanne will be forever remembered as a strong, independent, intelligent, beautiful woman.  A loving wife and mother, an adoring daughter and sister, and a loyal and dependable friend.  Taken far too soon by a cruel and unforgiving disease that shows no mercy, but never conquered Joanne's spirit.

Joanne would want us to celebrate her life rather than mourn her death.  Most of all, she would wish that no family ever has to go through the epic fight that she and her family have endured for so long.  To that end Luke has asked that, rather than send flowers, people donate what they can to Jo's charity of choice - Cancer Research UK.  

We'll miss you Jo, but you'll be forever in our hearts xx
