Great North Run 2017 · 10 September 2017 ·
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
This year I'm running the GNR in memory of my Dad. He was so proud when I got my place in the ballot last year but sadly didn't live to see me run it. Not long before he passed away, he said he wanted to buy me some shorts to run it in; I was thinking yikes! Shorts?!! For the GNR 2017 I WILL wear the shorts he imagined me running in and hope to raise much needed funds for St Teresa's Hospice in Darlington. They help so many people like my Dad, who have life-limiting illnesses and for whom curative treatment is no longer an option. They don't charge for their services but rely heavily on charitable donations to carry on their fantastic work.
