I have been training hard to take part in the Great Birmingham Run (My first Half Marathon!!!) on the 23 October 2011.

I will be helping to raise money for the Alzheimer's Society. After witnessing how Alzheimer's affected a close family member this is a cause that is close to my heart and I know that your kind donations will be invaluable in helping to identify a cure!

Your donations will go towards crucial research and development to help with this debilitating illness. The Alzheimer’s Society invests over £2 million pounds every year into research to help improve the quality of life for those living with dementia and in the pursuit for a cure.
