Dementia UK is the specialist dementia nurse charity. Our nurses, called Admiral Nurses – who we continually support and develop – provide life-changing care for families affected by all forms of dementia, including Alzheimer’s disease.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

This year my dad sadly passed away having battled for some time with Dementia. It's a cruel disease and it only seems fitting to challenge myself to do something to support the fantastic work that others do to make life that little bit better and easier for those living with dementia and their families.

I will be running the 2018 London Marathon and will be training over the next few months in preparation. I'll be juggling work with training and fundraising for this incredible cause. Any donation towards the fantastic work of Dementia UK would be amazing.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
