Story

Starting on the 26th May, after my 32nd birthday, I will be doing 32 days of no chocolate and 100 sits ups a day. The lack of chocolate will be the hardest part.

I'm doing this to support Calvert Trust Exmoor, and to look after myself.

Calvert Trust Exmoor is a charity that provides life-changing accessible breaks for people with disabilities. Based in North Devon, not many people have heard of them, but they welcome people with behavioural, physical, sensory and learning disabilities from all over the country.

The centre is unique. It's the only place in the UK that people with, for example, no sight, or no limbs, or no movement, or say complex conditions, can abseil or ride horses together - activities they could never normally do, alongside their friends and family.

As a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, Calvert Trust Exmoor is closed to guests. They are now relying purely on the generosity and kindness of supporters to ensure they can keep crucial funds coming in. Crucial funds that are needed to cover essential and unavoidable costs like caring for the horses and maintaining the fabric of the centre to ensure they open again in the future.

So 32 days, no chocolate!! With 100 sit-ups a day!! Please donate to support me and Calvert Trust Exmoor. Maybe I'll lose some weight too!
