Get Kids Going help provide sports and mobility equipment for disabled children and young adults. Often this equipment is customised to each person and very expensive limiting access to those who wish to participate. I have observed first hand the difference GKG makes with our Daughter Olivia who received  Iofunding support for her new racing chair, and Olivia is on her own journey towards reaching the highest level she can in wheelchair racing. I know Get Kids Going has also supported a number of the athletes at the Weir Archer Academy along with other para sports like rugby, basketball, sailing, tennis and skiing. 

I am celebrating a major decade this year and the Weir Archer marks its 10th year since being formed in 2013 after the London Paralympics in 2012.

After running in the marathon in 2012, I said " never again ".I am inspired this year by seeing the enjoyment, well being, fun and achievements across our team at Weir Archer of c 30 athletes of all ages every week.

My goal of raising £100 per mile will hopefully keep me moving forward on the day.
