Story
Hi! Thanks for visiting!
'12 in 12' is the challenge - that's 12 major sporting events in 12 months, finishing in 2012..
I've decided it is time to push myself. I have created this page to document my activities, and thought it would be great to raise some money for Cancer research, and to dedicate it to my late grandfather - Pop, who died last year from cancer.
Here's how i'm doing...!
- 210 miles cycling in Scotland (done)
- London to Paris bike ride (done)
- Amsterdam marathon (done)
- Run to the beat (half marathon) (done)
- Great South Run (done)
- Kentish Killer Sportive (done - 24th)
- Amstel Gold cycling (250km in Brussels) (done)
- The Olympic cycle route (done)
- Good fri Tri (done - 9th)
- The Marshman (Half Ironman - done - 7th)
- Kernowman (Half Ironman done - 1st!!)
So that's 11 down.. with just the 'big one to go'...
- Nice Ironman - (2.4 mile swim, 112 mile bike ride, 26.2 miles)
I am hoping for a time of sub 12 hours... but it's a bit of an unknown!
I will try to keep this page updated with photos/training events and training logbook.
