PAPYRUS is the national charity for the prevention of young suicide. We run HOPELINE247 0800 068 4141 a freephone confidential helpline staffed by trained professionals who give advice, support & information to anyone who is feeling suicidal, or concerned that a young person they know may be at risk

Story

The month of November marks the 6th anniversary of my brothers passing. This year myself, Ben Lander, Dan Laj, Danny Sanger, Ed Fussel, Hamish Ruia, Jamie Cowie and Sam Higgins are all taking part in Movemeber to raise money for a young suicide prevention charity called Papyrus. This is a cause close to my heart and I feel it is a great way to honour Mike and raise awareness

Suicide is the biggest killer of young people under 35 in the UK. PAPYRUS is the national charity for the prevention of young suicide and believes that many young suicides are preventable. They operate HOPELINEUK, a confidential call, text, and email helpline for young people with thoughts of suicide or those concerned about a young person who may have thoughts of suicide. Every £5 raised can help pay for a potentially life-saving contact to HOPELINEUK from a young person wanting to stay safe from their thoughts of suicide. Thank you.
