Hello!

I am running a marathon for Football Beyond Borders (FBB) on the 17th December 2017. Football Beyond Borders is a charity who use football to help people develop themselves and achieve their potential. Football has always been a massive part of my life and I understand the potential it has to bring people together, teach important values and inspire people both on and off the pitch. They also work hard to increase female participation within football which is something I am particularly keen to support following a recent university project I conducted as part of my studies. The lack of female involvement was staggering with a lack of opportunity and accessibility a key contributory factor. FBB are a charity originating from South London close to my university and this is hopefully the start of a new relationship between themselves and my university football team, Queen Mary FC.
