We distribute donated food to food banks to help alleviate food poverty in London

Story

On the 1st-3rd of July this year, me and my dad are taking part in the Bnei Mitzvah Charity Challenge in the Lake District, where we will be climbing 5,000 feet over to the top of the St Sunday Crag and Helvellyn mountains.

I have chosen to raise money for Food Bank Aid as I want to directly help people struggling to afford food and other essentials in the UK today.

Your donation will buy eggs, cheese, bread, fruit and vegetables to supplement non-perishable donated food. It will also buy nappies and hygiene products. The service helps more than 500 people each week.

I hope you can support my fundraising with a donation, I really want to help as many people as possible.  Thanks

Food Bank Aid was set up in April 2020 in response to the increase in numbers of people attending food banks due to the impact of Covid. Sadly, with the current cost of living crisis food banks remain in desperate need. Food Bank Aid supports 30 food banks who help over 16,000 people every week.
