Thank you so much for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

In 2011 my mother in law Attracta lost her brave fight against cancer. Her strength, dignity & courage in fighting this illness was incredible. By her side was my father in law, Derek. He dedicated himself to her in those last years, and one of the main reasons he was able to do this was because of the incredible and invaluable support that he received from ARC. 

My Dad, Eoin Mac Veigh, lost his battle with cancer in 2013 with the utmost dignity and bravery. We also sought help from ARC, and they delivered again. We were lucky enough to be with him in his last days, a gift I am eternally grateful for. 

ARC is an amazing service that urgently requires funds to keep delivering this incredible & honourable service. 

The best way that I know how to say thank you to them is to undertake this challenge..... My backside will be sore, my legs will ache, I'll probably be in tears at some stages!!!! But - it is nothing compared to what those we have lost to cancer went through. They did 1000% more on a daily basis.
