Hello, it's me, from earlier.

Basically, as a long-standing fan of popular mid-1990s Words and Pictures educational docu-drama Geordie Racer, I've quite fancied doing the Great North Run for ages. I'm looking forward to plodding across the Tyne Bridge and identifying spots in Newcastle city centre where I've seen friends and acquaintances throw up on nights out, while hopefully not joining their ranks.

What better chance, therefore, to raise some money for people who need it. Anything you can contribute would be magic. And I promise you'll be backing a horse in reasonable nick - I did the Stockholm Marathon back in June and only had a tiny blowout afterwards.
