Let me introduce myself, my name is John Gemmell and my colleague John Oliver are walking 20+ miles from Kilmarnock to Hollybush House (Treatment Centre in Ayr) on Christmas Day 2019 to raise awareness for veterans with mental health issues. Christmas can be a particularly difficult time for a veteran and myself and John want to do this walk to remind everyone that "Every Day is a Veterans Day". Invisible injuries can be just as hard to cope with as physical ones, the services provided at Hollybush House help veterans cope with the present, tackle the past and take on the future and help transform their lives again. All money raised will go directly to Combat Stress supporting Veterans as they try to rebuild their lives. Myself and John would like to thank you in advance for any support you can offer
