The Eve appeal, working with Saks with a combined vision “A future where fewer women develop and more women survive gynaecological cancers”.

Currently just 3% of women are confident that they know the signs and symptoms of gynaecological cancers, this is despite 55 woman being diagnosed daily and sadly 21 woman succumbing to these often silent cancers. Knowledge and early detection are key in raising awareness and developing early screening methods and ultimately cures for these female only cancers.

Alongside taking part in the national “Time for Tea” events throughout March, John and Claire have made the brave decision to run the Leeds half marathon on the 14^th May this year! This is a cause particularly close to Claire’s heart, having lost her Grandma to Ovarian cancer when she was still a young woman.
