This is the hardest thing we've ever had to write, but tragically the wonderful John Lutas has recently passed away. In his memory (along with rocking out to Guns 'n' Roses, sipping a Speckled Hen and cheering on Everton), it would mean the world if you're able to donate to one - or both - of our chosen charities.

There are many charities dear to John's heart, but two in particular that we know he'd deeply appreciate donations to.

The first is the Mountbatten Hospice, who looked after John in his final few months. The care and love he received whilst there was second to none - the nurses, doctors, receptionists and volunteers are real life superheroes, and we genuinely don't know what we'd have done without them. A warm, kind place that became a beacon of light in the darkest of times. They are only funded 35% by the NHS, the rest is donations, so please do donate to them here: https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/johnlutas

The second is the Wight Brainy Bunch, who have supported our family from the very moment our dad got his diagnosis. Founders Kat and Mark have been there for us throughout, both financially (organising ferries and hotels during dad's treatment) and emotionally (providing counselling for John's daughters, surprise gifts for John and Sam, and constant love and support over the phone). Their compassion is something we didn't know existed in the world. Please donate to them here: https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/John-Lutas

Thank you so much for your donations. Your kindness in his name, as well as your stories and memories, is how we know he'll never truly be gone.
