Story

Hi All,

I am running the Paris Marathon on Sunday 9th April to raise funds for the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at the Royal Bolton Hospital. My twin nephews, Vincent and Alexander, were born too soon at 25 weeks on 5th November 2015, weighing 789 grams (1lb 12oz) and 839 grams (1lb 14oz) respectively. Vincent and Alexander spent more than two months in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit and, from day one, all the staff at the Royal Bolton Hospital were amazing. It is only because of the expertise, support and dedication shown by the doctors, nurses and support staff there that both twins are now happy and healthy sixteen month old boys, something which seemed impossible on 5th November 2015.

I would love to help the Royal Bolton Hospital so that the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit can continue to be able to deliver the same level of care and support to other babies like Vincent and Alexander, and parents who find themselves in the same situation as my sister and brother-in-law.

Any donations would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

John-Michael Cheshire
