Story

Well I finished and felt pretty good over the last 3km, my time wasn't great but I finished 106 out of 212, not bad for a first one.

My time was 50 mins 19secs, so didn't hit 45 mins but I will have another go this year. I also am planning the Hereford half marathon again in May. Followed by the Hereford Triathlon in July and then a Marathon in September or early October somewhere.

Now the important stuff please can I have some money to put towards Mike's hospital in Nepal. The link is here please give generously   http://www.earaidnepal.org/

Kind regards,

John

Hi just thought i would do something useful over the next 4 weeks and try and keep the flab off over xmas and the new year.

Obviously I have done 3 half marathons so 10k should be a doddle but its the time you run it in that matters. I am targetting 45 mins (which is 5 mins off a club runners time, I have been told). I guess I am built for stamina not speed, so I will be training for several months for a marathon in the new year.....

I am hoping to raise some money for Mike Smith the ENT consultant that is building a hospital in Nepal.

I am also trying to hit my "perfect running weight" which is a four week programme in Januarys Runners world. Its suggesting I need to go from my current 13st to 11st 5lb, hmmm not sure I will do that but should loose a bit and speed up.

Its all for a good cause so please dig deep and donate now.

kind regards,

John
