On the 21st October I'll be climbing the Forth Bridge with Donna Auld and Alvaro Yanez and abseiling 170 feet off the side of it to the ground below in aid of the charity Chest Heart Stroke Scotland.

This fantastic charity need you to support us in our moments of death defying terror and courage as we scale the scary heights of the bridge just to through ourselves off the side attached only by a little rope... sound scary? yep... wanna get involved and support a very worthwhile charity but not as mad?.. then sponsor us please. We all know someone who haas suffered from a stroke or a heart attack and these charities do invaluable work helping support those concerned.

My step father had a massive stroke years ago and without the support of organisations like this he wouldn't have enjoyed a further 10 years - much of that due to care and support of my amazing mother who couldn't have done it alone and charities like this help many more people like my mum. Im doing this in his memory as he is sadly no longer with us.
