Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity. So it’s the most efficient way to donate – saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

The Challenge:

Approximately 3,500km pan-Indian adventure in a 7 horsepower glorified lawnmower. The Rickshaw Run is easily the least sensible thing to do with two weeks. Its dangerous, its dirty, and the likelihood of the Rickshaw breaking down several times is canny high.

The un-route we shall be embarking on is from Jaisalmer to Shillong across the top of India.

Check out more info about our Challenge at:

The Charity:

On this page it's all about Macmillan Cancer Support which I'm sure needs no introduction.

where we are supporting the adventurists chosen charity Cool Earth.

Cool Earth don't spend money on reserves or fences, they don't buy land.  Instead Cool Earth secure the land tenure for the people who live there already.  Unlike many other conservation charities, Cool earth focuses on at-risk rainforest on the arc of deforestation, rather than forest in the interior. This protected forest forms a shield to make the nearby forest inaccessible to loggers, saving millions of acres of forest.
More than 90% of each donation to Cool Earth goes directly to the projects it supports.  Please check them out:
