St Joseph's Hospice in Thornton, Merseyside, opened its doors in 1974 and has held a special place in the heart of our community ever since. Today, the hospice offers high-quality, professional end of life nursing care and family support services within a peaceful woodland environment.

Story

Many will have heard the sad news that Ian recently passed away after a long battle which he fought bravely - at many times defying the odds. There is a remembrance service for him on 3rd May which I know some of you will be attending but others cannot make. If you would like to offer a commemoration, in the absence of flowers, Helen would like to raise money for the Jospice where Ian was looked after and cared for over the last couple of years.  They were extremely supportive to Helen, James, Louise and Bella as well as provided a great care for Ian.
