In loving memory of John Carsberg

Cath Carsberg is raising money for Kidneys for Life
In memory of John Carsberg
More people than ever suffer from chronic kidney disease & the numbers are increasing. Treatments exist - eg. dialysis & transplant - but still no cure. This needs to change! We raise funds for kidney research, fund training courses for renal staff & provide amenities for North West kidney patients.

Story

In honour and loving memory of John Carsberg, donations may be made here to Kidneys for Life.

This charity funds research into kidney disease and amenities for renal patients at the Manchester Royal Infirmary (MRI) Renal Unit.

Kidneys for Life was a cause close to John's heart.

In 2008, John ran the Great North Run for the cause and wrote, "I have been a renal patient at the MRI since July 1984. Since then, the staff on the unit have been great and a lot of hard work goes on in the background and especially research to ensure the best possible treatment is given. I am lucky to have been under the care of MRI. It is now time I helped them as a thank you for helping me."
