Brain Tumour UK has merged with The Brain Tumour Charity to become the UK's largest dedicated brain tumour charity. We fund research and offer support and information to those affected whilst raising awareness and influencing policy.

Story

This is a huge challenge for this year.  c700 runners covering c3,000 miles in a world record attempt on the distance relay running record in May 2012.  Having tackled the personal challenge of 20 marathons in 12 months in 2010 this is one where I intend to run less marathons and get others to share some of the work!  That said, I'm still expecting to run a few of them myself.

Again, this is all for Brain Tumour UK and the aim is to raise £½ Million for this fantastic cause.  More children are diagnosed with brain tumours than with leukaemia, more women than with breast cancer, and more men than with prostate cancer.  Those are all such serious conditions but this just makes the point that so many people are touched by this debilitating disease and so much more research is required to help find new ways to deal with this life changing condition.

Many thanks for your support.
