What is Warwick in Africa?
The Warwick in Africa programme aims to improve the education in some of Africa's poorest countries. Partnering with schools in Tanzania, Ghana, and South Africa, Warwick in Africa supports schools by sending teams of students to teach alongside their teachers. They also help the schools in the long term by running teacher workshops, which transform the educational environment of the schools for years to come.
Why am I taking part?
Looking back on my own education, it was the teachers who had faith in me who made an impact. Teachers who are not only passionate about their subject, but go the extra mile to support and inspire students change the world for the better. Therefore having this chance to pay this forward, by supporting and inspiring students from less advantaged backgrounds, truly means the world to me.
Please give whatever you can to support Warwick in Africa - it costs less than £10 to help one learner. How many lives will you change?
