Far too many of us have felt the pain of losing someone we love. With your donations, we power groundbreaking cardiovascular research to save and improve lives, bring hope to families, and keep hearts beating across the UK.

Story

John passed away suddenly on 2nd January. The triple bypass that he had back in the year 2000 was meant to give him 10-15 years, it gave him 16 years. For those extra years we got to spend with him, we are forever thankful. We are all deeply saddened and shocked by his sudden death but John didn't suffer in any way. John requested that donations were made to The British Heart Foundation as it was a cause close to his heart.

Colin, Alex and Dan had already signed up to doing the London-Brighton bike ride this year which now has even more poignant meaning for us as a family to raise as much money as possible.

In 6.5 hours & temperatures up to 45 degrees these boys completed the London to Brighton bike ride on Father's Day. To say we are proud of them is an understatement, what they achieved in very extreme conditions is unbelievable.

1st Father's Day Dad without you, we know that you spurred them to the finish line & had you been there with us, you would've been shouting like crazy as Colin & the boys came along Madeira Drive to the finish line.

They did you proud ❤️
