Hector Stringer took his life at the tender age of 18. He didn't realise that things can and do get better and he didn't reach out to his friends and family to ask for help when he needed it most. We believe that suicide can be prevented, if we all realise that mental health is fluid, that you can get help, you are not alone, people do care. We are raising money so that hopefully, we can prevent suicide, though increased awareness, education and support.

Hector was the son of a friend of Jon's who tragically took his own life at the age of 18 years old. Hectors parents Rob & Belinda and sibling Lotte set up the charity to support, educate and advise young people upon good mental health and provide support to those in need.

Suicide, particularly in young males  is THE biggest reason for death in the UK within the under 40's age bracket. Hectors House roll out a programme of going in to schools and colleges to educate young people and at early age that help is there if you need it.
