Helen and I are taking part in The Starr Trust Nice to Nimes cycling challenge over 4 days in mid September. It involves over 400km of cycling and 7,000 of vertical ascent and so will be a significant challenge for both of us.

The Starr Trust is a small family run charity which supports young people from disadvantaged backgrounds to achieve their ambitions in life and does fantastic work in the local community in Brighton and Hove, partnering with local people and businesses. 

We are paying the cost of the trip which is organised by them, but they are relying on participants to raise money through sponsorship to make the trip worthwhile for them.
