I'm cycling Birmingham to Portsmouth...approx. 250km on the 22nd & 23rd July to celebrate my 41st anniversary of joining the Royal Navy as a wee 16 year old, leaving Birmingham starting a life time of adventure. 
I have chosen Central England Rehabilitation Unit who support traumatic brain injuries primarily because as a young man I too had a traumatic brain injury which I was so fortunate to survive and make a full recovery from.
I also had significant physical injuries which impact me today and not a day goes by that I am not thankful for the NHS and all the fantastic work and opportunities it brings to our nation.

CERU is a specialist service that has fantastic results, brings independence and hope to patients and families where it has been taken away, it has a magnificent clinical and backroom team and they are a jewel in the crown of the new Coventry and Warwickshire integrated care system.  I would like you to offer any donations to help me, by helping this service continue to deliver above and beyond on my epic journey.
