Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I'm cycling Birmingham to Portsmouth...approx. 250km on the 22nd & 23rd July to celebrate my 41st anniversary of joining the Royal Navy as a wee 16 year old, leaving Birmingham starting a life time of adventure.
I have chosen Central England Rehabilitation Unit who support traumatic brain injuries primarily because as a young man I too had a traumatic brain injury which I was so fortunate to survive and make a full recovery from.
I also had significant physical injuries which impact me today and not a day goes by that I am not thankful for the NHS and all the fantastic work and opportunities it brings to our nation.

CERU is a specialist service that has fantastic results, brings independence and hope to patients and families where it has been taken away, it has a magnificent clinical and backroom team and they are a jewel in the crown of the new Coventry and Warwickshire integrated care system.  I would like you to offer any donations to help me, by helping this service continue to deliver above and beyond on my epic journey. Birmingham to Pompey in this heat!! Thank you so much....x
