Edinburgh Marathon 2010 · 23 May 2010 ·

Alzheimer Scotland is the leading, national dementia charity in Scotland. Our mission is to make sure nobody faces dementia alone. We provide advice, information and support and we are here for people living with dementia, their families and carers across Scotland.

Story

This charity is close to my heart after loosing my grandma to Alzheimer's, so give what you can. Be safe in the knowledge that I'll be destroying myself on the track through Edinburgh.

As a additional incentive I will be running a sweepstake, donate > or = £2 and include a guess of how long it's going to take me to run the 26 miles. As a hint I imagine it shall be between 2 h and 6 h.

Whoever is closest to the real time will be given a hefty haggis collected over the boarder (meaty or vegeterian) or a bottle of Whiskey if you'd rather. This will be funded by me, not out of the collective pot.

Love to you all

Jonny

So this is now completed in 3h29min25secs which makes Sarah Barnard our winner and now the proud owner of  a bagpipes cd as requested...
