The RFU Injured Players Foundation supports & protects the rugby family. They provide support to any rugby player who sustains a catastrophic spinal cord injury or traumatic brain injury while playing the game, and they fund vital injury prevention research to keep everyone safer on the field.

Story

I'm taking part in the Prudential Ride 100 event in August & a 12 hour cyclothon at brands hatch in September to raise money for the RFU Injured Players Foundation.

Im extremely fortunate to work for the RFU, i have come accross some players who have suffered injuries but not serious but there are occasions where players suffer catastrophic injuries which not only halt their participaion in our sport but effect their entire lives. The IPF exists to assist those players and allow them to live a full and independent life, as well as supporting the research into how and why these injuries happen - and therefore prevent them in the future.

The rugby community always takes care of one another and any donation you can make to assist in the support of the IPF would be greatly appreciated.
