Story

Welcome to Team Captain David Seath Memorial Fund! Thanks for taking the time to visit my Just Giving Page. I have the honour to be running Tough Mudder Scotland on behalf of the Fund. Tragically David passed away running last years London Marathon. In the name of Help for Heroes I aim to complete the event in his memory.

David’s legacy…
The Captain David Seath Memorial Fund was founded in May 2016 which has, to date, provided over one-hundred and sixty-five financial grants to wounded, injured and sick personnel and veterans in partnership with Help for Heroes.
Our primary focus is to support those who have experienced considerable physical and psychological trauma in service of their country and the work is making a huge difference in rebuilding their lives. Donations have been used to purchase specialist rehabilitation equipment, enable respite breaks and PTSD therapy as well as facilitate supported employment placements and the setting up of businesses.

Help for Heroes is a leading military charity that aids and supports wounded, sick and injured servicemen, servicewomen and veterans in there hour of need. After his death a Help for Heroes fund was set up in David's name - The Captain David Seath Memorial Fund. The fund was started by David's brother Gary. I hope to continue both David and Gary's great work by raising funds for this worthwhile cause.

On a personal note, I was part of the Air Training Corps for 3 years where I was introduced to this charity and the fantastic work that takes place in support of our veterans.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving and once you donate, your money is sent directly to charity. So it the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting cost for the charity.

Once again, I wish to thank everyone for your incredible support.
