Levi's Star is in memory of Levi Ringer aged 6½. It's a children's brain tumour charity supporting children with brain tumours across Yorkshire, providing financial assistance. Working with LGI/Sheffield Childrens Hospital. It provides money for research and raises awareness of brain tumours

Story

Levi's Star are a local Wakefield based charity who supports children with brain tumours and helps their families through difficult times.

Levi’s Star was established as a charity in August 2008. Set up Vicky Ringer, the charity is in memory of her little boy Levi, who tragically lost his precious life to a brain tumour, just 6 weeks after the devastating diagnosis. Levi was only 6½ years old.

I met Vicky about 12 months ago and was inspired by her story and the way she has devoted her life to helping others since her tragic event.
