Dear All,

After years of jogging in the wilderness I've decided to put those efforts to work on raising money for Cancer Research UK by doing a sponsored half marathon in Salisbury on 17 October 2010.

As many of you know, when I was 15 years old I lost my mother to cancer. At the time of her illness I remember being amazed by her unwavering positive attitude, tenacity, and lack of complaint, at the most darkest of times.  It is these memories that have given me the extra boost to push on that extra mile.
