Story

Hi guys, I'm training hard again to hopefully summit all the 7 highest peaks of the Mournes in one day this coming April. This will be a great day for charity and personal achievement for me after a difficult injury last year. Any support would be amazing and will be going to an amazing cause! Also, anyone who wants to join in with us for the hike in April please don't hesitate to contact me and Il send you all the details. If you fancy a challenge this should be right up your street! Thanks again for all who have already donated to me and also to Lagan valley Vineyard for all their prayers and support!

Each one of us is guilty of taking our freedom and lives for granted and IJM are doing amazing work to help people in extremely harsh and evil situations. These people have hardly any hope each day and go through pain and suffering regularly that most people will never experience in their whole lives.

Please take the time to read a little about what work IJM does across the world to help others and reduce the evil that has manifested itself across the Earth. They truly are a shinning light amongst the darkness.

IJM partners with local authorities in 33 offices across 23 countries to combat violence, such as slavery, violence against women and children and police abuse of power. We are a global team of investigators, lawyers, social workers, community activists and professionals. Inspired by Christian faith to love all people and to seek justice for people in oppression , IJM protects people in poverty from violence, without regard to religion or any other factor, and seeks to work alongside all people of goodwill.

IJM work side-by-side with local authorities and governments to rescue and restore survivors, hold perpetrators accountable in local courts, and help strengthen the public justice system so it can better protect people living in poverty from violence. This systems-based approach is replicable and has been proven to reduce the prevalence of modern slavery and violence, in some cases by as much as 86%. So far, we have helped to release over 75,000 people from slavery and violent abuse, and our vision is to rescue millions, protect half a billion and make justice for those living in poverty unstoppable.

Many more can be found on the IJMUK YouTube page and also our website.
