Most of you who are visiting this page (and are hopefully donating) will know John, you will remember what sort of person he is and what he means to a lot of people. For the people who don't know John, unlucky as he is definitely worth knowing.

9 of us plan to make the journey from Cambridge to Glossop to help raise money for the Encephalitis Society which, in short is the illness that is affecting John. We are hoping to raise awareness about the disease and help people beat the illness by raising money for research and medical help. 

Encephalitis affects people all across the world and can have devastating effects on the victims and the families and friends so please give what you can. We don't care if its 50p or a tenner anything you can afford would be gratefully received.
