Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
Over the autumn and winter of 2013/14 I was very ill with severe depression, it was so bad that I seriously contemplated taking my own life on more than one occasion. Apart from my wife, family and eventually medical help two things that kept me alive were running and The Samaritans. Now that I am well on the road to recovery I want to give something back and have decided to use a series of running events I am taking part in over the summer of 2015 to raise as much money as I can for the Samaritans.
My challenge starts on June 6th with the Aston Subedge Ultra marathon followed a week later by the Holly Marathon in Telford. Then in July I will take part in the 50 mile Wenlock Olympian Walk and in August the 37 mile Railway Ultra in Telford and finally on 29th August the 130 mile Liverpool to Leeds Canal Race . In total I will be running 273 miles, please help me to raise as money as I can for this charity so that they can go on saving lives.
I have now completed my challenge finsihing the Liverpool to Leeds Canal Race 130 non-stop miles over the August Bank Holiday Weekend. Thankyou to everyone who has supported me in raising money, it is still not too late to donate.
