Last year Jonty ran at the very first Bournemouth Marathan Festival on behalf of his cousin Darien (now aged 5) who was diagnosed at birth with having Cystic Fibrosis. Jonty was heart broken to learn that Darien may never live long enough to see adulthood and may never have the opportunities that Jonty will be fortunate to achieve himself, it was because of this Jonty wanted to help find a cure in the hope it will help Darien and others like him to live a longer and healthier life.

This year Jonty (aged 8) has inspired his younger brother Monty (aged 6) to also take part in the Bournemouth Marathan Festival.

They have been training hard and are very appreciative of any money they raise as they know it will go to a good cause.
