On Wednesday 26th July, Sophie and I welcomed our beautiful baby daughter, Margot Isabella Read, into the world. Sadly, she was only able to be with us for two days before we had to let her go.

Throughout our time with her, she was expertly cared for by the staff on the University College London Hospital neonatal unit who did everything in their power to help and comfort Margot, us and our families. 

Although Margot was only with us for a short time, the care and expertise of the UCLH staff have given us the most precious memories which we will cherish forever. 

A few months ago me and my (much sportier) brother-in-law Matt both signed up to run the Richmond Park half marathon on November 26th, but with recent events, we would love to now try and raise some money to support UCLH with donations going towards their incredible neonatal unit. If you can please sponsor Matt and I for this cause, it will be greatly appreciated.
