I am fighting in my first ever competition on 18th November 2023. I will be boxing for Ultra White Collar Boxing Shrewsbury.

Of course, I know you want to hear why. To raise awareness.

Following a diagnosis of complex PTSD and depression last year, I realised that we all experience challenging times. These challenges can impact us in a multitude of ways. Even when we think we are coping, no one can see under the surface. 

The fight for positive mental health is a war, not a battle. 

To those from the Armed Forces, Emergency Services, Merchant Navy and most importantly my family and friends. None of us are, or need to be alone.

Talk to each other

Support each other

Don't judge

And above all let's unite and turn the tide on what was once a taboo topic.

This campaign is in memory of 'Mad Mandy Joy Preece'. We were always with you, and you will always be with us.

NB: 

Tickets for the fight are £27 this goes to the hire of the venue etc and to keep UWCB running. It is a black tie event and doors open 1500 hrs.
