During the pandemic Captain Tom stepped up to support the NHS Covid-19 by taking on his famous walk and inspiring millions to donate. We are offering the chance to raise funds in the spirit of Captain Tom for the charity of your choice.

Story

I am a British Army Reservist in the Royal Engineers, 221 Field Squadron (EOD&S), 101 (City of London) Engineer Regiment (EOD&S) & am taking part in the challenge set out by Captain Sir Tom Moore’s family to celebrate the life & legacy of Captain Sir Tom Moore.

I will be raising money for the Oppo Foundation & any amount however small would be greatly appreciated & would really make a difference to the charity.

The OppO Foundation are raising money to support Ex military personnel in their quest for gold by providing specialist training and physiotherapy. Competing in Tokyo 2020 is just one of the many goals. They want to inspire others to follow their lead and use sport to regain physical health, mental strength and a purpose in life.  A number of military personnel have returned home with a disability suffered in the course of serving their country. With a little support they can do it. #TeamOppO
