Maria  and I  have decided to take this challenge in memory of our dear friend Jay who we lost too soon to this devastating disease. Jay and I  were  school friends and maintained our friendship throughout our lives. Our families have shared special memories together through the good times and  bad. Losing Jay has left a big hole in all our lives and we miss him dearly. Jay was diagnosed with Glioblastoma in 2018 and what followed was something no-one was prepared for! Jay and Naina always made time for us. Jay loved to have his friends and family around him and made sure he made time for everyone even when he was sick. We spent many happy hours together talking and laughing and enjoying the good food that Naina prepared for us at their home. It was a good excuse to get together! Family meant everything to Jay. The impact a brain tumour diagnosis has on families is heart breaking. It is for this reason that Maria and I want to be able to help other families in this situation.
