I am going to cut my hair for children who have the terrible illness called cancer.

When people have cancer, doctors give them a medicine that clears all the bad bacteria- but it also makes all their hair fall out !

Then doctors decided that it would make sense that if children grew their hair long enough they could make it into a wig to give to the children whose hair had fallen out for them to wear.

I am one of those children who is growing their hair to be made into a wig.
