Bupa Great North Run 2011 · 18 September 2011 ·

The National Autistic Society is here to transform lives, change attitudes and create a society that works for autistic people. There is still so much to do to increase opportunities, reduce social isolation and build a brighter future for autistic people. With your help, we can make it happen.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Daughter (Jo) and dad (Bernard) are doing the Great North Run (half marathon) in support of the National Autistic Society. The society exists to champion the rights and interests of over half a million people with autism and to ensure that they and their families receive quality services appropriate to their needs.

We are both a little older than we were when the photo was taken, which is good news for Jo as she probably would have struggled to run 13 miles at that age, but not so good news for Bernard, who wishes he still had those only thirty year old legs!
