Me and my friend Andy have been running since the spring this year and thought it would be great to run a half marathon and to raise money for our chosen charities.

We have already completed the Hull 10k back in June and are now training hard for the Major Stone Half Marathon. Not long to go!

My chosen charity is the Cats Protection League. I have chosen them as my girlfriend and I got our cat (Freddie) from the Beverley / Hull Branch about 4 months ago. When we visited the couple who run it, we found them to be very hard working and dedicated people who take care of the cats there. What they do is a great job of rehoming cats that have been found abandoned or are living stray, and make sure they find the best home for them.

I thought the least I could do in order to support them and their efforts was to raise some money so they can carry on doing their fantastic work.
