At Alzheimer’s Society we’re working towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives. We do this by giving help to those living with dementia today, and providing hope for the future by campaigning to make dementia the priority it should be and funding groundbreaking research.

Story

After a nasty fall that I had - I am still recovering...I have run few marathons and it's the first time I am feeling it...thank you to all the supporters who cheered us..it helped me to complete with my injuries when I was advised not to continue...:-) Big Thanks to all . x

Thanks for taking the time to visit my page.

This year, I had planed to challenge myself, so had been putting in long hours of training pounding the streets of London by getting up early and pushing my body to the limits. All this for a good cause! My training so far has gone okay, despite the tremendous pressure at work between January and March working long hours, training in bad weather (snow, ice, rain, wind ), few course of antibiotics….and few trips to the Physio...starting a new job, my running partner having to pull out 48hours before the Marathon etc etc..

Running a marathon is a massive undertaking; the result of months of training and countless miles. All of it goes into one day, just 26.2 miles - the single validation of my hard work. Please dig deep and sponsor me - Your generosity will be much appreciated and a huge motivation for me during my training and doubtless throughout every step of the 26.2 miles. Joshna xx
