I am leaving my house in Wigan on 22nd May 2019 and walking to Grasmere in the lake district over the following few days to try and raise some money for The Brick Project. I will be covering roughly 75 to 85 miles depending on the route I take.

My target is set at £250 which i would love to achieve with the help of my friends and family if possible. This may not seem like a huge amount of money to most but this will go a long way to help the charity to provide for the homeless in the area.

Our aim is to eradicate homelessness and poverty in our community. We support homeless people, those facing homelessness, and people experiencing crisis or poverty in the Wigan borough.People who are marginalised by society, who can, with support, become independent and contribute positively to their communities. Services include crisis intervention, housing and health support on behalf of the Council, a foodbank, social and employment training, and wide-ranging volunteering opportunities. We ensure no one in our community gets left behind.
