Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. This page has been set up in memory of my Mom Josie who passed away on 1st October 2013. We found out that Mom had cancer in April 2013 and she commenced a course of chemo, however after 9 weeks we discovered that the chemo had not worked and both her lung and brain tumours had grown during this time. As a family we were determined to care for Mom at home for as long as we could and the staff from Marie Curie enabled us to do this. The nurses and carers came in to see Mom every day and we also had a night nurse with us most nights toward the end which was a great support. All the staff were so warm, caring & professional they really made a huge difference to Mom's life & ours during a testing time.
