Three years ago my father had a mild stroke. However its impact is still with him and whilst it has not done major damage, he finds being in crowds of people very very stressful. Since then I've met others including very young people who have suffered a stroke. Their stories and experiences are testament to how devastating a stroke can be.I'm running for The Stroke Association, so that they can offer more support to those who suffer a stroke.
