The RI Mental Health Association's mission is to promote and nourish mental health through advocacy, education, and policy development. Through my professional work at RI BHDDH, the  RI Women's Prison and as a  MHARI board member, I know firsthand how big an impact this organization has on the mental health of Rhode Islanders

We are 1 year into the Covid-19 pandemic which has escalated the number  of folks suffering from depression, anxiety and loneliness. Together we can normalize this illness by sharing stories and changing systems that stigmatize and denigrate basic needs.
